Wow. I just had a few days off from work after a productivity marathon and I absolutely do feel more tired. Amazing. I wonder if dedicating more time each day to deep recovery puts me on a realistic timeframe to recharge or if I do need to plan a longer period of uninterrupted down time.
I think it can be a combination probably. I like to think each day has a net gain / net loss number for the big battery and it’s possible to shift our way of behaving to make each day a net gain. It’s slow going though! So the longer one may be needed! Could also do a few more long weekends (1/2 days off) and see where it takes you!
Well said. 👏
Body rest and Soul rest.

This really resonated with me. Thanks for your insights!
Gotta be aware of that big battery. Thanks Jon 🙏
Love seeing the examples of what drains and charges both the small and large battery for you!
En av de bästa artiklarna jag läst på väldigt länge, tack Jonatan ❤️ Hoppas vi ses snart igen – 11 år sen sist 😅
Great post, thanks!
